The Centre for Community Health Promotion (CHP) is a non-profit, a scientific and technological organization that promotes sustainable development of Vietnam. We work for a lasting improvement in the well-being of people through initiatives in health care and health education, in the improvement of the environment, in liverlihoods and through policy advocacy.
The Centre for Community Health Promotion (CHP) was established by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in December 2006, and licensed by the Ministry of Science and Technology in January 2007.

Mission
We work for the sustainable development of people through initiatives on communication, health care, education, environmental protection, livelihood development and advocacy.
We operate in the areas of Health and development, with particular emphasis on Maternal and child health, sexual reproductive health, family planning, eye care, nutrition, HIV / STI prevention, non commucable diseases, environment protection, disaster risk reducing and adapting to climate change in sustainable ways.

STRATEGIC APPROACHES
We work with vulnerable and disadvantaged populations, including children under 5, adolescents, young people and women, ethnic minority groups, gender minority groups and migrant workers, elderly people with difficulties, people living with HIV / AIDS. We support our target partners through 4 strategic approaches:
- Communication for Development, towards changing individual and social behaviors
- Evidence-based Advocacy
- Empowering and Capacity Building for partner groups
- People-centered Intervention with respecting human rights and gender diversity
